Brant Nystrom is the current track chair for the Bluegrass Region of the Porsche Club of America. In addition to his daily role as an engineering leader at Lexmark International, Brant is a high-performance driving fanatic. He started taking part in track events in 2009 with the PCA. Since that time, he has participated in racing and track events across the US and Germany. He is a nationally certified Porsche Driving Instructor, and licensed competitor in time trials and time attack. In 2012 he placed second in the NASA Time Trials series, and became a member of their ‘Hall of Champions’.
Brant writes a monthly article for the Rumble entitled ‘Track Time’. Those articles provide instruction and information regarding Porsche racing and track activities. He is excited to help others enjoy high performance driving and DE (Driver Education) events, and is a great resource if you are interested in getting involved in track events. Brant started writing his Track Time articles in March 2013. His articles from the past years can be found in the Rumbles and are available on the Newsletters and Historian Newsletters pages.
In the event you may be wondering about what track events to sign-up for, I have compiled a list of near-term events that folks will likely attend that we have familiarity with, or that are from our region or geographic location. If I have left one of your favorite events off the list, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org), and I’ll be sure to update it next month.
